HIIII! so yeah...

i’m literally just sitting here staring at my blank screen because my imagination is completely dead today. like, i have absolutely zero interesting ideas to write about. my life is just a giant routine at this point. honestly, what even is there to tell?

it’s frid
ay and the weather out here today is just super gloomy. it’s literally like 12°C and cloudy as hell, total classic weather. so i just went out for like twenty minutes just to do something regular and change the view.

i walked over to Starbucks. obviously. i go there so continuously at this point that the baristas literally know my name and greet me the second i walk in. like, they saw me today and were like, "hey!" and i was just thinking, what the fuck?? i feel way too famous in this place now lol.

anyway, i’m currently sitting by the window drinking that new iced pumpkin cream shaken espresso cuz everyone on my feed is obsessing over it right now, and the pumpkin cold foam over the blonde espresso is a total win. i also grabbed a warm pumpkin cream cheese muffin because i needed actual food. but yeah. now i’m just sitting here eating my pastry, holding my cup, and watching the gray sky.

this post has zero plot points lol. just trying to string some sentences together so my blog doesn’t look completely abandoned. i guess my only actual plan for the weekend is going back to my room and continuing my massive Netflix marathon. i’m finally on season 3 episode 7 of The Vampire Diaries, and honestly, the ghost world drama in Mystic Falls right now is way more exciting than my actual reality.

HIIII! IT'S FINALLY SEPTEMBER

Got a secret, can you keep it? Swear this one you'll save...

The exact second it hits September 1st, summer is officially dead and everyone starts craving cozy mysteries, cloudy skies, oversized sweaters, and dark autumn aesthetics. And obviously, the absolute queen of September traditions is Pretty Little Liars. The second this month starts, it’s basically mandatory to think about Rosewood vibes.

There is something about that show. The leather jackets, the boots, and the characters walking around with a Starbucks cup under a gloomy sky (while literally dodging text messages from a psycho who put a note inside a tooth, drove a car through Emily's house, and left a message written in lipstick on Spencer's mirror)—that just screams September. Idk what it is, but it works every single time.

Ngl, I’m basically a chaotic mix of Spencer and Hanna. I have that Spencer Hastings energy when I get obsessed with thick books (and start investigating every tiny detail until I eventually look like a completely unhinged detective), but my inner Hanna Marin takes over the second I start dropping serious dollars on coffee, clothes, and random stuff I absolutely did not need.

It makes you wanna walk through a small town in a trench coat while drinking a pumpkin spice latte (and constantly checking over your shoulder to make sure "A" isn't watching from some random black hoodie, stealing Alison's remains from the cemetery, locking you inside a box with a dead body like the Halloween train, or trapping you inside a burning lodge like the season 3 finale).

Like... why was everyone in Rosewood so casually surviving this stuff while still showing up to school the next morning??

Starbucks and PLL traditions have completely rewired our brains, and honestly? I'm not complaining. There’s just something about September that makes everything feel a little more mysterious, dramatic, and unnecessarily complicated.

So yeah, bring on the drama, the creepy Radley Sanitarium secrets, the Red Coat mysteries, the suspicious texts, the endless coffee, and basically every terrible decision imaginable.

September has officially started.

...cuz two can keep a secret if one of them is dead.

a very expensive way to cure boredom

 Hi

Okay so today I woke up with absolutely zero plans. Honestly, I was fully prepared to just stay in bed all day long, rotting under my blankets and watching The Vampire Diaries on Netflix like I always do when I’ve got nothing better to do. But by 2 p.m., Damon Salvatore wasn't even enough to cure my boredom anymore and my brain was completely fried, so I forced myself to get up, put on a pair of beat-up Converse, and leave the house just to kill some time. And honestly, I figured spending an unnecessary amount of money on coffee and random things was probably a better way to spend my Saturday than rotting in bed all day, so I decided to actually go out and be productive (or at least pretend to be).

The weather out here today is also a total mood. It's super cloudy and drizzling a bit, so the autumn vibes are actually real today instead of that crazy summer sun we had on Tuesday. Like... finally.

Since I was wandering around Capitol Hill, my first stop was obviously Starbucks on Broadway. I needed a serious sugar rush, so I ordered an iced chai latte with pumpkin cold foam, and since I hadn't eaten anything all day (very responsible of me, ik), I also grabbed a warm pumpkin cream cheese muffin and that super cute hedgehog cake pop I’ve been seeing everywhere. I just sat by the window scrolling through TikTok, eating my pastry, and watching the rain. It’s funny how a few days ago everyone was literally sweating in line, and today the whole cozy café aesthetic actually makes sense lol.

Once the caffeine and sugar kicked in, I decided to dodge the crowds and do some SERIOUS damage to my wallet. First, I walked over to The Elliott Bay Book Company on 10th Ave cuz I needed a proper book haul. The inside of that place is massive, with those huge cedar beams, and it literally smells like pure autumn. I spent FOREVER browsing the fantasy shelves under the dim lights and ended up dropping some real cash on a beautiful, heavy hardcover special edition of A Game of Thrones. I’ve been wanting to buy the book ever since I finished binging the entire show on Max a while ago, so I figured today was the perfect excuse to finally grab it and actually start reading (let's just hope I don't abandon it after three chapters).

To end my rainy-day spending spree, I stopped by Retrofit Home on Pike St. It’s this independent shop nearby that has the coolest stuff. Since it was getting KINDA chilly outside with the drizzle, I decided I needed to upgrade my room's cozy level, so I bought this huge, expensive scented candle that smells like cedarwood and campfire, plus a clean black oversized crewneck they had on display. Dropped a pretty penny there ngl. Like... did I need any of this? Absolutely not. But that's not really the point, is it.

Anyway, I'm back in my room now, pretty happy with everything I bought, with my new GOT book on the desk and my candle lit while I go right back to my Netflix marathon lol. So basically, I left the house just to spend money and then immediately return to doing exactly what I was doing before.

At least I touched some grass today and supported the local economy

What do you guys do when you have a boring Saturday?

Let me know in the comments

HIIII! IT'S FALL (or is it?)

Okay so apparently fall started yesterday. According to Starbucks, at least. And you know your boy was first in line cuz I am an absolute, unapologetic Starbucks stan. I’ve literally had August 25th circled on my calendar since mid-July, waiting for the corporate sirens to officially call me home. Like, yes, I am fully aware that this is ridiculous. No, I don't care.

But ngl, when my alarm went off yesterday morning and I looked out the window, the math was not mathing. The fall launch felt a little aggressive because... it’s literally still August, like, summer’s very much alive and well. It was literally 82°F and sunny as hell out here yesterday. Full-on, sweat-inducing t-shirt weather. And yet, there I was, standing in a massive queue that wrapped entirely around the block, fully pretending I needed a cozy oversized hoodie while trying not to melt onto the pavement. Like bro, I was fighting for my life out there. The dedication was real guys.

Obviously, I had to order a hot pumpkin spice latte for my first round cuz OF COURSE I did. It wouldn’t be day one of autumn without the annual, traditional PSL situation. Like, that's basically a rule at this point. But since im a deeply dedicated fan who follows all the leaked menus weeks in advance, I already knew exactly what new drops I wanted to check out before hitting the register. I was not walking in there unprepared lol.

Once I finally made it inside (and the AC hit me like a blessing) the whole store already smelled like a giant cinnamon broom. The baristas were working in absolute god-mode, churning out orange drinks at Mach 5. I swear everyone in there had the exact same idea. For my second drink later in the afternoon, I learned my lesson, skipped the line completely using the mobile order hack, and went with the new iced pumpkin cream shaken espresso. Let me tell you, it completely lived up to the hype. The blonde espresso with the pumpkin cold foam? Unreal. Like, I was ready to hate it just a little because sometimes the hype gets way too much, but nope. They actually got me.

Though I gotta admit, my brain is still genuinely not computing their other new drink, the chaider. It’s a mix of chai and strawberry açaí to mimic a cider vibe?? Like... what exactly happened in the Starbucks kitchen that led to this decision. I love Starbucks with my whole heart, but that feels like a weird flex. I'll probably stick to the new banana bread drinks tomorrow because at least my brain understands those.

Now, let’s talk about the bakery case because that’s where they really targeted me yesterday morning. I was only planning on getting my caffeinated liquid gold and leaving. That was the plan. A very simple, responsible plan. But the second I locked eyes with the pumpkin cream cheese muffin, I folded instantly. Like I didn't even try to resist. Im completely obsessed with that spiced pepita topping. I ended up walking out of the store clutching my warm muffin in one hand and their adorable new hedgehog cake pop in the other, literally sweating bullets under a blazing 82-degree sun. Very autumnal. Very cozy. Absolutely roasting.

The weirdest part of this entire experience? I’m not even mad at them. Yeah, it's August. Yeah, I'm still mentally in pool-party mode. But the second that orange cup touched my hands yesterday, my brain went okay maybe i did need a pumkin drink right nowAnd honestly? I hate that they were right. Starbucks decided yesterday was autumn, and I gladly followed them into the trenches.

Not complaining tho. Catch me drinking pumpkin foam all week.

the vampire diaries: my very important opinions

Hi

so i randomly decided i need to rank the characters from the vampire diaries season 2. yes, specifically season 2, because i have major opinions and apparently this is how im choosing to spend my life rn.

instead of making a huge list that would take forever to read, im just putting everyone into tiers. let's get into it.

tier 5: the "literally who?" bench (aka please leave mystic falls)

brady, jules and the lockwood parents: brady is literally just an angry werewolf hanging around mystic falls, jules brought way too much chaotic energy to virginia, and mayor lockwood literally died at the founders' day event without even knowing what was happening lol. carol spends most of the season being completely oblivious to the supernatural chaos happening around her. smh.

luka and greta martin: the witch family. luka just showed up doing witchy stuff and making everything way more complicated, while greta is barely even a thought rn. girl really chose klaus and paid the ultimate price for it.

sarah and slater: sarah was basically just a plot device for tyler to trigger his curse. rip girl, idk u. and slater is the vampire info broker who looks like he hasn't slept in three weeks. dark web vampires are built different.

tier 4: the deadbeat parents & clueless humans

John ggilbert and isobel flemming: deadbeat parent supremacy. john spent the season being suspicious, causing chaos, and generally making everyone's life harder, while isobel literally abandoned elena to become a vampire. extremely interesting characters, but deeply toxic parents. like, maybe try parenting next time??

matt donovan and jeremy gilbert: matt is lowkey the only normal human left in mystic falls, and it took him way too long to realize caroline was acting weird. jeremy has the survival instincts of a moth flying into a microwave. he literally spends half the season trying to play detective w/o any actual skills.

jenna sommers: poor aunt jenna. literally living in a house full of vampires, doppelgängers and supernatural secrets while everyone keeps lying to her. nobody thinks she deserves to know the truth and i'd be furious too.

tier 3: the muscle & the trauma

mason lockwood: honestly, i don't dislike him. he came back looking for the moonstone, got manipulated by katherine, and then damon literally ripped his heart out in the cabin. extremely unfortunate career trajectory.

alaric saltzman: this man is a history teacher, a vampire hunter, a guardian, an investigator and a professional sufferer. mystic falls needs to put him on payroll fr.

rose: i actually like her a lot. she feels different from most vampires we've seen and she's surprisingly sweet considering she's basically running for her life the entire time. unfortunately, mystic falls has a horrible employee retention rate.

tyler lockwood: season 2 tyler is basically just confused, angry and traumatized 24/7 bc of the moonstone drama and the fear of transforming. can't even blame him tbh.

tier 2: the main plot armor division

bonnie bennett: bonnie deserves SO much better. every supernatural problem in this town somehow becomes her problem and everyone just expects her to fix it with a spell and a nosebleed. girl is literally carrying the plot on her back.

stefan salvatore: much more interesting this season. he's still dramatic as hell, but his broody savior complex is working overtime trying to keep elena safe from katherine. also, the whole sacrifice-yourself-for-everyone thing is getting a little exhausting ngl.

elena gilbert: i like her, but sometimes i genuinely want to grab her shoulders and say GIRL, STOP TRYING TO SACRIFICE YOURSELF FOR EVERYONE. the doppelgänger drama is real, but the martyr complex is exhausting.

klaus mikaelson: he barely even needs to show up. his name gets mentioned by rose and suddenly everyone is sweating. terrifying, completely unhinged, and somehow already has the entire town acting like he's the vampire version of a natural disaster.

tier 1: the elite season 2 royalty (the carry job)

elijah mikaelson: the absolute definition of "polite but could absolutely kill you." the man walks into a room wearing a suit, uses coins to smash windows, and suddenly everyone needs to behave. absolute respect. honestly, if he told me i had to leave mystic falls, i'd pack my bags immediately.

damon salvatore: absolutely terrible person, extremely entertaining character. he spends the season being a toxic menace, killing jeremy, picking fights with werewolves and generally making every situation about himself. but he's damon. what am i supposed to do.

caroline forbes: ok, season 2 caroline is SUCH a glow-up. she went from the neurotic, insecure girl to one of the best vampires in the show. the second katherine smothered her with a pillow in the hospital and turned her, she became elite. season 2 caroline supremacy is REAL.

katherine pierce: yeah, i'm not even going to pretend this one was difficult. season 2 katherine is THAT girl. she chopped off john's fingers, manipulated mason, stole the moonstone, played literally everyone, and made everyone's problems about her within approximately thirty seconds of returning. absolutely insane. absolutely iconic. and honestly? the season would be half as entertaining without her.

manifesting a plot twist

today was completely normal, which is kinda boring tbh. like... nothing happened. at all. i went through my day like usual, but my life rn is just so incredibly repetitive, literally speaking. its basically the exact same cycle every single day, and sometimes i just sit here thinking about how crazy itd be if my life had even a tiny bit of whatever damon salvatore has going on

like sometimes i genuinely feel like id love to have a life like theirs for a bit. maybe when i go to starbucks some random person sits next to me and it turns out they´re hiding a completely unhinged secret, idk, just SOMETHING to break the routine lol.
but then other times i´m like... absolutely not bc people are literally getting compelled, hunted down, kidnapped, stabbed, or turned into vampires every five minutes lmao like realistically? i would probably last three days. maybe less.
idk tho, certain things about it just seem so much cooler compared to reality. not necessarily the whole constantly being in danger and watching everyone around you die part obviously but just the random chaos, the secrets, the drama, people actually having things going on... literally anything that breaks the same routine for once.
meanwhile i´m over here having a completely normal day and thinking wow, what if something slightly interesting happened to me for once?
anyway... maybe its better that nobody in my life is secretly a vampire. probably

i was not prepared for any of this ngl

i know i know this page is supposed to be a holy shrine to forks washington, but sighs deeply... i did a thing. i finally finished season 1 of the vampire diaries. and honestly? idk how to feel. my brain is completely fried and i NEED to scream about it for a second.

first of all the pacing?? it’s absolute psycho mode. twilight is out here vibing in the misty woods for two hours while mystic falls fits three entire lifetimes, a historical flashback, and like four town council murders into forty minutes. like... wrap it up guys let elena breathe for a sec!!!
speaking of elena... girl, WHY are you always wearing those tiny converse sneakers to walk into dark, abandoned vampire basements?? your survival instincts are literally below zero. like at least bella swan knew when to stay in the truck (sometimes). girl had ONE job.
and can we talk about how everyone in this town is just casually dating their teachers or getting turned into vampires at a school party?? vicki donovan was an absolute mess from day one (rip tho i guess), and jeremy spending the whole season crying over her while doing sketchy things in the cemetery was so painful to watch. like sir, please go home,

also stefan... okay he’s sweet but why does his face look like he’s permanently trying to solve a hard math problem?? like breathe my guy. it’s not that deep.
then there’s damon... okay i get the hype lol. he’s awful and literally ruined caroline’s life for like ten episodes (poor caroline honestly just wanted to plan the founders day parade in peace), but he has that messy, toxic alt-boy energy that makes you forget he’s a literal villain. which is... concerning. very concerning, actually.
but wait, the others actually carried SO hard too. alaric saltzman arriving with his magic vampire-hunting ring and a massive grudge because damon literally fed on his wife is crazy. and THEN finding out his wife is actually elena’s birth mom who WANTED to become a vampire?? the drama is unmatched. like what are these family trees

and matt donovan is just standing there being the most stressed-out, broke, useless human in the entire state of virginia while his mom randomly shows up just to be a terrible parent. poor guy cannot catch a break.

also pearl trying to build a normal life for herself and anna after being trapped in a tomb for a century, just to get dusted by john gilbert?? my heart actually broke. like girl survived a whole century just for THAT??
and wait, i CANNOT forget lexi branson!!! she was literally on screen for like one single episode and instantly became the blueprint. her and stefan’s bestie dynamic was everything, and then damon just casually dusts her to look like a hero to the town council?? i will NEVER forgive him for that tbh. absolutely foul behavior.
also can we talk about mayor lockwood being an absolute menace to his own family while sheriff forbes is literally running around trying to hunt vampires and her daughter is just trying to survive high school?? everyone’s parents in this town need their rights revoked immediately.
and sheila “grams” bennett... literal icon. she sacrificed everything to help bonnie open that tomb and her death actually ruined me. she deserved SO much better than being dragged into salvatore family drama. like leave this woman alone
and OH MY GOD that season finale??? KATHERINE PIERCE?!
im literally shaking typing this.
damon is on the porch talking about how he actually wanted to protect the town, and then he kisses “elena” BUT IT WAS ACTUALLY KATHERINE IMPERSONATING HER?!?!?
i literally gasped out loud.
damon really thought his villain-to-lover arc was starting and instead he got COMPLETELY played. and then she just casually walks into the kitchen, tricks uncle john (who we literally JUST found out is elena’s actual biological dad, wtf), cuts his fingers straight off at the counter, and STABS HIM!!!
katherine showing up out of nowhere just to ruin everyo0ne’s life within like two minutes is absolute cinema. like girl really said “let me make an entrance” and proceeded to destroy the entire town.
meanwhile, the rest of mystic falls is a literal dumpster fire. anna gets staked in the basement after trying so hard to save her mom, which was so mean. jeremy is upstairs swallowing pills with anna’s vampire blood in his system because he just wants to stop feeling the pain, so now he’s transitioning?!? and poor caroline is literally in the hospital fighting for her life after that car crash with tyler lockwood (who literally started glowing or something because of that supernatural device?? idk what his deal is yet but he’s angry lol).
and BONNIE omg. bonnie told stefan that she only saved damon from the burning basement for elena’s sake, but she made it SO clear that if damon spills one more drop of innocent blood, she will not hesitate to take him down herself.
she’s not playing games anymore and honestly? good for her.
the way the season ends with the real elena walking into the house while katherine is hiding in the kitchen with a bloody knife... my jaw is STILL on the floor.
anyway, im starting season 2 right now so idk, wish me luck i guess lol

HIIII! so yeah...

i’m literally just sitting here staring at my blank screen because my imagination is completely dead today. like, i have absolutely zero int...
